Treyarch’s Call of Duty games are known for their Zombies modes, and it sounds like the upcoming Call of Duty: Vietnam will be no exception. According to frequent Call of Duty leaker TheGamingRevolution, Call of Duty: Vietnam’s Zombies mode will include the fan favorite TranZit map from Call of Duty: Black Ops 2. There will be some other classic Zombies map in Call of Duty: Vietnam as well as some brand new ones, if TheGamingRevolution’s sources are to be believed.

TheGamingRevolution has also said that Call of Duty: Vietnam will have perks and use a Pack-A-Punch system more in line with the older Call of Duty Zombies modes, as opposed to what was present in Call of Duty: Black Ops 4. Fans should take all of this information with a grain of salt, though, especially since no official details have actually been released for the game yet.
Call of Duty: Vietnam, or whatever it ends up being called, should be announced sooner rather than later. Activision typically announces new Call of Duty games in May or June every year, so one has to imagine that the official reveal will come within the next couple of months. Previous leaks and rumors suggest that Call of Duty: Vietnam will be announced in May, so an official reveal could be coming in just a matter of weeks.
One possibility is that Call of Duty: Vietnam will be revealed at the Tuesday, May 12 Summer Game Fest event. Activision is confirmed to be a Summer Game Fest partner, and it’s been confirmed that a surprise new game reveal is happening on that day. However, that’s just speculation at this time, and it’s just as likely that a completely different game will be revealed on May 12 instead, so fans should keep their expectations in check.
Whenever Call of Duty: Vietnam is announced, it will be interesting to see what all is shown of it. It’s possible that the announcement will only include a look at the campaign, but hopefully Call of Duty: Vietnam’s Zombies mode is given some attention as well. Fans will just need to hang tight for the official Call of Duty: Vietnam reveal.
Call of Duty: Vietnam is rumored to be in development for unspecified platforms.
