Rs. 11.24 Crore Hike For Sports And Youth Affairs In Budget

The ministry gets a total of Rs. 1,219 crore as against the revised 2013-14 figure of Rs. 1,207.76 crore.

The Sports Authority of India (SAI) is a major beneficiary, getting Rs. 325.10 crore as against last fiscal year’s Rs. 320.45 crore.

The various National Sports Federations (NSFs) get a total hike of Rs. 5 crore, having been earmarked Rs. 165 crore.
