MLB released the latest American League voting results for the All-Star Game Monday, and they are dominated by Royals players. The players include first baseman Eric Hosmer, second baseman Omar Infante, third baseman Mike Moustakas, shortstop Alcides Escobar, designated hitter Kendrys Morales, catcher Salvador Perez and outfielders Lorenzo Cain, Alex Gordon and Alex Rios. 

Hosmer and Morales took over this week as the leading vote-getters at their respective positions. Royals legend Bret Saberhagen is enjoying the surge of votes headed toward the Royals.

Voting ends July 2, so there’s plenty of time for other members of American League teams to take over the starting positions.
