As a playable character, Rosaria makes use of a polearm, making her currently the only playable Mondstadt character to use the weapon type. She uses her Cryo Vision to inflict the power of ice on her foes and is a fast, aggressive attacker. Those hoping to level up her interesting talents and ascend Rosaria will need the following materials to do so.

Gemstones - Where to Find Shivada Jade

The elemental stone that all Cryo characters in Genshin Impact use is Shivada Jade. This icy blue stone can be found in a few ways, but most of it will likely come from defeating the bosses that can drop it, which includes:

Enemy Drop - Where to Find Fatui Insignias

Fatui Insignias are dropped by, of course, members of the Fatui. This includes the Skirmishers, Pyro Agents, and Cicin Mages. Mirror Maidens don’t seem to drop them.

Fatui enemies can appear in many, many places, though there seems to be a higher concentration of them around Dunyu Ruins, at the base of Dragonspine, and on Narukami Island, specifically at the base of Mt. Yougou (the mountain where the Sacred Sakura is located).

The higher the level of the Fatui, the better their Insignia drops can be, as outlined here:

Boss Drop - How to Get Hoarfrost Core

Hoarfrost Cores are dropped by the Cryo Regisvine and used by a handful of Cryo characters to ascend, including Rosaria, Qiqi, Diona, Chongyun, Ganyu, Kaeya, and Diona. This icy boss can be found in Mondstadt, specifically at the Falcon Coast. It has pretty decent resistance to Cryo attacks, so using Rosaria in the battle against it isn’t the best plan of action. However, she is great as a pure physical attacker, so she isn’t the worst choice.

Local Specialty - Where to Find Valberries

Valberries are one of the local specialties of Mondstadt. These small pink berries are used to ascend Rosaria, Noelle, and Lisa. They can be found growing in groups of four around the Stormbearer Mountains and Stormbearer Point. Anyone having trouble finding them should seek out Chloris, who wanders the path north of Windrise. She sells five Valberries for 1,000 Mora each, restocking them every three days.

Valberries can also be grown in a player’s Serenitea Pot with the right seeds.

Rosaria Talent Materials

Players that plan to level up Rosaria’s talents will need some more Fatui Insignias, as well as a few other important items, as outlined in this table:

Talent Books - Ballad

The talent series that Rosaria uses is Ballad. These books can be obtained in a few ways, but the best method for getting them is to clear the Forsaken Rift domain on Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

Trounce Materials - Shadow of the Warrior

Every character needs a trounce drop for their talents, and Rosaria’s is the Shadow of the Warrior. This item can be obtained by defeating Childe at his weekly trounce and paying the Original Resin cost to claim the rewards.

Crowns of Insight

A Crown of Insight can be hard to come by, but they’re needed by every character to level up each of their upgradeable talents to the max level. A few of these rare crowns can be earned by making offerings to the Frostbearing Tree and Sacred Sakura. Others can be obtained during special events, so be on the watch for them.
