“Damn. I really hope she doesn’t back out,” Haschert told TMZ when he heard of the Rousey-Browne relationship.

Haschert invited Rousey to the event in a video that went viral on Facebook in August. Rousey agreed to attend with Haschert, saying: “He’s got to be a gentleman. I’m not a first date kind of girl.”

Hopefully that first date happens despite Browne saying: “She’s my woman and I’m her man.”

Browne, at 6-7 and 254 pounds, isn’t the type of guy you want to upset, so Haschert only had kind words for Rousey’s new squeeze when asked if he would fight Browne over Rousey.

“That would be a tough fight,” Haschert said. “She’s a great woman with an amazing personality. I’m sure he’s a great guy.”

The December event is a celebration of the founding of the Marine Corps as marked by Haschert’s battalion. The Continental Marines were established on Nov. 10, 1775. Although the Corps was disbanded after the Revolutionary War, it was restarted by President John Adams in 1798.
