A new report now suggests that the Animal Crossing Nintendo Switch game will launch in early 2019. The publication LootPots cites an anonymous source who suggests that the game will be released early next year, in either late Q1 2019 or early Q2 2019. This would put the release date in either March or April 2019. The game is also expected to cost €59,99 (equivalent to USD$70 or GBP£53) which is traditionally how much Nintendo Switch games cost at retail....

Specifically, leaker Jez Corden has come out and said that he saw a bit of Avowed’s pre-alpha gameplay in 2021 and claimed that one of the game’s available weapon classes was muskets. Corden has suggested a 17th-century level of technological development in the game, which could have huge implications for the setting and the core gameplay loop. On ResetEra, dataminers have shared clips of various multiplayer maps from Black Ops Cold War, and have discovered that their file names include the letters “WZ.” This seems to suggest that these maps may very well be combined to create a new Warzone battle royale map, not unlike how the existing Warzone map is comprised of Modern Warfare’s Ground War maps. Not only that, but the leaked footage actually corroborates an old leak about potential new Warzone map locations....
