Archaeologists uncovered the foundation walls of the large church at the rediscovered Royal Palace of Helfta near Eisleben in the German state of Saxony-Anhalt. The Daily Telegraph reported that Cairns has been investigated by the Metropolitan Police, who have passed on a file to the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS).
